Oseltamivir for influenza in adults and children: systematic review of clinical study reports and summary of regulatory comments.

This meta-analysis found that prophylactic oseltamivir reduced to proportion of people with symptomatic influenza. However, its use as treatment for influenza was not of clear benefit. Although it did reduce time to symptom alleviation, the side-effects of nausea, vomiting, headaches, renal, and psychiatric syndromes negated the benefit in many patients.
