Use of the Screening Tool of Older Persons' Prescriptions (STOPP) and the Screening Tool to Alert doctors to the Right Treatment (START) in hospitalised older people.

This study found that the most common potentially inappropriately prescribed medication to patients 65 years of age and older was aspirin, and the most common potentially important omitted medication was a statin.  (Australas J Ageing. 2014 Dec 3.)
