Socio-economic factors related with the subjective well-being of the rural elderly people living independently in China.

In this study of elderly people in China, age, low education, poor health, living alone (compared to living with a spouse), and low socio-economic status were found to be negatively correlated with subjective well-being.  (Int J Equity Health. 2015 Jan 17;14(1):5.)
